Dentsu Aegis Network Acquires Global Mind

Leading performance agency will align with iProspect marking its third Latin American acquisition this year

Dentsu Aegis Network today announces the acquisition of the largest independent agency in Argentina, Global Mind. Headquartered in Buenos Aires, Global Mind will triple the headcount of iProspect in Argentina, while its second office in Miami will act as a launch pad for serving Latin American clients more broadly. Following the acquisition, Global Mind will align its operation with iProspect, the world’s leading performance marketing agency, strengthening the agency’s pan-regional reach and global network of 4,300 business performance specialists.

Founded in 2001, Global Mind is a full-service, cross-channel agency, offering online and offline creative and production, media planning and buying, business intelligence, digital paid search, display, social media management, SEO, programmatic and data & analytics services. The agency’s 120+ person team is split across offices in Buenos Aires and Miami serving numerous blue-chip clients including Netflix, Epson, Paypal, Tarjeta Naranja, Peugeot and Mercado Libre.

Global Mind’s co-Founder and CEO Marcelo Montefiore will become CEO of iProspect Argentina, reporting into both Juan Pedro McCormack, CEO, DAN Argentina and Philippe Seignol, President of iProspect, Latin America.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
