DDB Singapore has appointed Sithum Walter as its newest senior art director. Reporting to creative directors, Khalid Osman and Lester Lee, Walter will be working on some of the agency's biggest and most awarded clients, including StarHub and McDonald's. He joins from a spell at BBDO Bangkok.
Walter is no stranger to awards himself, having won pencils at D&AD and One Show and gongs at Spikes, Clios, LIA and Cannes. His most recent work at BBDO Bangkok, 'MotoRepellent', picked up the AdFest Grande Lotus for Humanity.
In a 10-year career spanning Bangkok and Colombo, Walter has worked on blue-chip clients, including Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Samsung, P&G, Dulux and Sri Lankan Airlines.
"Talent has always been our agency's first priority. Our second priority? Still talent. Which is why, we are super stoked to have Sithum on board. We can't wait for Sithum to work his magic on behalf of our clients," said Khalid Osman, Creative Director, DDB Singapore.
"I've always been a fan of DDB Singapore. They have some of the best creative leaders and bravest clients. Now that I've landed, I can't wait to get busy and add to the work that does wonders for the clients' bottom-line and the agency's award shelves," added Walters.
