Daydreamer Welcomes Rod Norman and Chris Allen

Daydreamer has recently bolstered its senior team by welcoming seasoned VFX superstars Chris Allen and Rod Norman into the organisation.

Rod joins the team as creative director, having recently moved from NineteenTwenty. With over 20+ years in the industry, he’s collaborated with acclaimed directors like Ridley Scott, Matthijs Van Heijningen, and Danny Kleinman and his achievements include winning a prestigious VES Award in 2019 for his outstanding work with Ridley Scott on the Hennessy 'Seven Worlds' project.

Chris joins the team as executive producer, working with Cat Hammond to oversee the Production department - “I couldn’t be happier working with old friends again at Daydreamer. Being surrounded by such an incredibly talented team and working in an environment that places creativity first is pretty cool. There’s a buzz in the studio and I’m really looking forward to working on a range of projects across all disciplines”

Chris joins from The Mill where he was EP for the past five+ years, working on some of their biggest projects including the VES award winning campaign with AMV BBDO for Smart Energy 'Einstein”. Over his career he has enjoyed working with acclaimed directors including Traktor, Sam Brown, Adam Berg, Tom Green and Fredrik Bond.

Cat Hammond, managing executive producer says "I am delighted to be working alongside Chris again. He is one of the best EPs in the business, and brings a wealth of industry experience (and witty anecdotes) to the table. Together with Rod’s hire, their arrival represents an exciting gear shift for the company, particularly as we transition into our new creative studio."
