David O’Hanlon has joined DLKW Lowe, as a Global Planning Director on Unilever’s Persil ‘Dirt is Good’ brand. Lowe and Partners won the Persil brand earlier in 2013.
O’Hanlon was a key player at HHCL during its heyday in the 90’s and was a key member of the leadership team. David worked on Tango, Ronseal and the AA’s ‘4Th Emergency Service’, all iconic UK campaigns of their time.
He recently lead strategy at McCann Erikson for MasterCard Europe and has been associated with some of their best “Priceless” creative work across multiple markets.
Mike Teasdale, Lowe and Partners’ Worldwide Chief Planning Officer, Unilever: said: “Dave’s background speaks for itself. He has a grown-up business brain and is a wizard with numbers but he also has great curiosity and a voracious capacity for learning new things. His eclecticism and seemingly bottomless pit of knowledge about a vast range of stuff makes him a very interesting person to work with, which I look forward to see reflected in our global Persil work”.
David’s appointment at Lowe marks his return to the creative agency world, from data consultancy, Beyond Analysis.
