Agency snaps up D&AD New Blood winning duo and VaynerMedia social team

Fold7 has appointed two creative teams as the business expands. This follows a string of new business wins this summer, including CapitalOne and PZ Cussons. These are Dave Billing’s first appointments to the Fold7 creative department since he took up the role of Executive Creative Director in September. Esin Huseyin and Davide Mauroni join from VaynerMedia London. While D&AD New Blood winners, Dan Burkitt and Jacob de Figueiredo, come fresh from TBWA and VMLY&R.

Social creative specialists Huseyin and Mauroni joined forces at VaynerMedia London at the start of 2019. During their time there they worked on social-first campaigns for brands such as UNICEF, the NatWest Group and WeWork. Prior to that, Esin was at VCCP, working on notable brands like easyJet, MORE TH>N and Nationwide. Originally from Rome, Mauroni has worked  on creative campaigns, events and activations for major brands, including: Barclays Bank, Corona, Fox International and Hyundai.

Dan Burkitt and Jacob de Figueiredo teamed up at School of Communication Arts 2.0 where they won awards such as D&AD New Blood Pencil & TTB Cream. They join Fold7 following placements at TBWA and VMLY&R.

Dave Billing, ECD at Fold7, said: “This is an exciting time at Fold7 as we bring in rising talent and new energy into our nurturing and growing creative department. We’re already feeling the benefits of their talents across multiple projects as they further bolster our ability to answer briefs of any shape. Both teams are a great fit for our vibrant culture, and have that unmistakable entrepreneurial spirit that we look for in all our people.”
