Dave Bedwood Joins AnalogFolk London as Creative Partner

Dave Bedwood, a former Creative Director at M&C Saatchi and Co-Founder of Lean Mean Fighting Machine, is joining the independent digital agency AnalogFolk London in the position of Creative Partner.

Bedwood will start at AnalogFolk London in January and work alongside Simon Richings, also promoted into the role of Creative Partner.

As a partnership, Bedwood and Richings will have joint responsibility for the running of the creative department. The hire underlines a continued investment by the agency to enhance its innovation capabilities and together the duo will pursue AnalogFolk’s creative ambition in the UK.

Bedwood co-founded Lean Mean Fighting Machine in 2004. The agency was the Cannes Lions ‘Interactive Agency of the Year’ in 2008 and sold to M&C Saatchi in 2014.

Richings joined AnalogFolk in 2013 as Executive Creative Director from Tribal DDB, where he held the same position. During his time at AnalogFolk the agency has experienced strong growth and won numerous creative awards, including Grand Prix at The Drum’s Content Awards (November 2015).

Richings said: “I jumped at the opportunity to bring Dave to AnalogFolk. He’s got an incredible creative record, and I’ve got huge respect for his positivity and consistent professionalism.”

Bedwood commented: “After a long break from the industry I’ve realised it’s narcissistic, self congratulatory, over analysed and up its own ample arse. It’s good to be back.”

AnalogFolk was founded in London in 2008 by Bill Brock and Matt Dyke. It opened in Sydney in 2011, where B&T named the office ‘Emerging Agency of the Year’ the following year. In 2013, AnalogFolk opened in New York and earlier this year boosted the US offering through the opening of a Portland office. AnalogFolk unveiled a Hong Kong office in June, its first offering in Asia.
