Darkly Comic IDLES Video Takes Head Banging to New Extremes

Pulse Films directing duo 32 teamed up with much buzzed about band IDLES to bring us this thumping new music video for their single 'Mercedes Marxist'. 

 

The film depicts the monotonous, surreal life of a man trapped by the song’s infectious beat. It drops at the same time as IDLES’ previously unreleased b-side ‘I Dream Guillotine’. 

 

Both tracks were written and recorded during last year's sessions for their album, ‘Joy as an Act of Resistance’, which recently received a Mercury Prize nomination.
