The three photographers will join the roster of the film and photography agency and production house

Czar Amsterdam welcomes Bibian Bingen, Stig De Block and Kwadwo Amfo. The three talents will add to the photography agency's growing artistic roster. Head of photography at Czar, Nina Pus, says, "I am very proud of our growing photography agency. Alongside our productions, we focus a lot on talent development, and we aim to be a trusted home for our in-house talents and our clients. With these last three signings, we have now created a fantastically diverse roster, one with which we can best serve our clients and make sure we are putting the right talent forward."

Bibian Bingen

Amsterdam-based Bibian is best known for her energetic, playful and challenging compositions. With her documentary approach, she captures spontaneous, passing moments in her unique way. A fly on the wall with her camera in hand, Bibian is driven by her curiosity and surroundings. This results in beautiful street-cast shoots, and images that feel deeply personal.

Kwadwo Amfo

Born and raised in Ghana, Kwadwo Amfo now lives in Amsterdam. He developed an early  love for textiles and graphic design that led him to the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague to study photography. Social commentary became the basis of Amfo's work, ranging from social standards of beauty, identity politics, social integration, and conformity. His final project SILHOUETTE, which examines misrepresentations of black men, led to Amfo winning the Ron Mandos Photo Talent Award 2022. An annual exhibition that brings together the work of the most promising young artists in the Netherlands. Amfo has since exhibited his work at the Scotia Bank Contact Photo Festival in Toronto, in the Netherlands and in Ghana.
