18 feet and rising create funny little spot for Cuprinol

In 2014, Cuprinol’s communications platform will continue to build on the success from 2013 via the Cheer It Up! Campaign. The garden woodcare specialist Cuprinol has launched its latest TV advertising campaign to showcase the company’s credentials as a leading authority in colour.

The new advertising creative from 18 Feet & Rising, which airs today (Monday 7th April) on ITV during Coronation Street is designed to encourage Brits to cheer up and transform tired gardens by injecting colour with Cuprinol Garden Shades.

This 30” second charming new advert sees a Cuprinol miniature man take to the sky over the nation’s gardens. He has a distinctive “yeeeesssss” and “nooooooo” catchphrase expressing his joy or sadness with instinctive and unreserved spontaneity. Gardens are all that he cares about and his main aim is to brighten them up so he sometimes flies in to help out.

The Cuprinol miniature hero doesn’t stop there, he also encourages Brits to cheer up their decking using Cuprinol, All in One, Total Deck – a new product innovation in the garden woodcare category. The 20” second advert sees decking being given a new lease of life, spurring the airborne hero to signal a broom salute as another garden is made over in moments.

Kathryn Ledson, Senior Marketing Manager for Cuprinol, comments: “Cuprinol is passionate about protecting garden wood and enhancing outdoor spaces. Our new television campaign will make people smile and demonstrates how easy it is to cheer up gardens in time for summer.”
