Production studio Cross Step Content has released the short documentary Gender Outlaw: A Bodysurfing Story in time for Pride Month, profiling trans athlete Tiler Wilde. International music studio Squeak E. Clean Studios crafted all original music, sound design, and final mix to accompany the gripping account of one man’s journey toward acceptance.
Squeak E. Clean Studios captured mood - of the ocean, of somber tranquility, and of peaceful acceptance - with synth and choir notes in time to the heartbeat of crashing waves. The audio and composition pair with the spirit of Tyler’s soothing message: that we should be able to walk this earth and live as our truest selves, in all walks of life.
To support that vision, all proceeds from the film will go to the TransLatin@ Coalition, founded in 2009 by a group of Transgender and Gender nonconforming and Intersex (TGI) immigrant women in Los Angeles, California, as a grassroots response to address the specific needs of TGI Latin@ immigrants who live in the United States.
