Wunderman Thompson South Asia has produced compelling work to inspire others to stay safe
Today’s unprecedented and challenging times calls for a new way of existence. With everyone's lives upended owing to lockdowns and with continued uncertainty around Covid-19, people have developed their own coping mechanisms. In an effort to express solidarity and encourage people to stay safe, the creative warriors at Wunderman Thompson South Asia proactively produced pieces of compelling work to inspire others with important messages of staying strong and staying safe.
From addressing issues of domestic violence to paying tribute to the cities that they call home, to producing their first ever song by an in-house music band, the team at Wunderman Thompson South Asia, notwithstanding the lockdown, forged creative connections and devised meaningful ways to uplift moods and infuse positivity.
Tarun Rai, chairman and Group CEO, Wunderman Thompson South Asia, says: “It has been two months since we have started working from home. As a team, we seem to have managed very well and have been busier than usual. I am amazed and proud of the quality and quantity of work undertaken during this period. I love the ‘can-do’ attitude and resourcefulness that we have demonstrated as an organisation. I am particularly impressed by work which was not initiated by any of our clients but created by our people because they felt strongly about the crisis we were going through and wanted to do their bit and contribute."
Rai continues: "Many companies are finding different ways of contributing, whether it’s changing production lines to produce hygiene and safety products or giving out hotel rooms to hospital staff. Our business is ideas and communication, and I am very happy that we have used our creative talent to contribute in a meaningful way to spread positivity and important social messages. The team at Wunderman Thompson South Asia has reinforced the belief that nothing can stop creative excellence, not even a lockdown.”
