Hispanic agency Creative On Demand has created three humorous new spots for the Volkswagen Jetta.
'Lost in Translation' features one of those very relevant moments for Hispanics in the U.S., the introduction of your English speaking significant other to your parents for the first time. In this case, breaking through the language barrier and having a positive impression is made with the help of a Volkswagen Jetta.
'Lucky Shirt' is a playful way to highlight a Jetta product feature by telling a story of a man and his attachment to his "Lucky Shirt". In this spot, the girlfriend tries to discard the old, stinky shirt but the Jetta conspires against her (and saves the day for him) by not allowing the trunk to lock. We showcase a feature we discovered in the process of Creative development – if you leave your keys inside the trunk, the trunk won't lock.
'Keep it Clean' is about the tough choices we sometimes have to make – looking good in front of others, overprotecting what's ours, or giving up something valuable. Here we showcase a guy who has to make a tough choice- his brand new shoes, or that brand new Passat smell.
