Pamela Romanowsky, Trevor McMahan, Joaquín Güiraldes, Dara Bratt and Tati Barrantes join the roster

Brooklyn-based, woman-owned production company Tinygiant welcomes Pamela Romanowsky, Trevor McMahan, Joaquín Güiraldes, Dara Bratt, and Tati Barrantes to its roster of talent. Known for championing unique, diverse directors, Tinygiant has secured its place on the map with its stellar blend of artistry and expertise.

Founder/executive producer at Tinygiant, Veronica Diaferia says: “The same reason that made Sara joining us earlier this year (Eolin, Partner/Executive Producer) so perfect holds true for these new signings. They are all mutually beneficial and reciprocal partnerships that will elevate both the individual brands of our talent and the company as a whole.”

Partner/executive producer Sara Eolin, adds: “I had the pleasure of working with this group of directors at my previous company, and we’re so excited that they followed me to Tinygiant. They all bring such different creative strengths to the table, but have an unwavering commitment to the craft of filmmaking. We always want to keep our roster fresh and our approach to production ever evolving with the times. Veronica and I are both no nonsense yet extremely fun! But truly, this serves to draw this level of talent to us, along with a-list clients and agencies. We’re honored to steward the careers of these outstanding directors into the future.”

Pamela Romanowsky has built a sterling reputation as a screenwriter and director across film, television, and advertising. Her passion is for boundary-pushing narratives with complicated, richly-drawn characters that balance authenticity and humanity with stylish and dynamic visuals. Her feature debut, The Adderall Diaries, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was released by A24. She has worked on episodic series such as HBO’s Gossip Girl and the CW’s Riverdale. She’s been awarded several fellowships for her work from Sundance, the Film Society of Lincoln Center, Warner Brothers Television, and more.

Trevor McMahan started his career as one-third of the directing collective HAPPY and has collaborated creatively with a handful of the world’s top commercial directors including Ivan Zacharias, Guy Shelmerdine, and Noam Murro. He has since established a wide-ranging body of solo work that defies genre but always delivers on a creative vision that pushes each project to its own iconic voice. He has garnered multiple Cannes Gold Lions, the cfp-e Young Director’s Award, and a certificate of induction into MOMA’s permanent collection as an AICP honoree.

Argentinian director now Brooklyn-based, Joaquín Güiraldes has worked in different areas of the filmmaking world, from agency-side at David Buenos Aires as an editor and a producer, to directing and editing his own projects. His unique background informs his holistic approach to filmmaking, which involves being hands-on in every step of the process. His style is based on visual storytelling, with a strong emphasis on rhythm. His commercial work has won awards at Cannes Lions and The One Show, among others.

Tati Barrantes was born in Lima, Peru, raised in Los Angeles, and received her MFA from NYU’s Graduate Film Program, where her foundation as a writer and director was built. Always searching for the humanity within a subject, Tati approaches projects with sensitivity, humor, and a dedication to inspiring strong collaboration. She co-creatively developed and directed a documentary television series and accompanying VR experiences called Beyond the Frame. A Samsung and Vice partnership, the series was nominated for a Cannes Lion.

Originally from Montreal, Dara Bratt holds an MFA in film from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, and is most happy when bringing a story to life. Collectively, her films have screened all over the world, from the Tribeca Film Festival to SXSW, from Cannes to ShortShorts Asia in Tokyo. Her work includes narrative films, documentaries, and commercials with a specific emphasis on beauty. Tinygiant has previously represented Dara for Canada so this marks a wonderful homecoming moment.

Recent work out of Tinygiant includes projects for P&G and Sprite, as well as a colorful Target holiday campaign launching this month.
