On the back of the agency’s recent appointment as lead global creative agency for Johnnie Walker, Anomaly Amsterdam is bolstering its senior creative power with the recruitment of award-winning creative duo Martin Peters Ginsborg and Lars Jorgensen to the position of Partner & Executive Creative Director, working alongside Anomaly Amsterdam’s current Partners, CEO Hazelle Klønhammer and Chief Strategy Officer Amanda Fève.
Before moving to Anomaly Amsterdam, Martin and Lars helped create award-winning work for Anomaly New York, Grey, Mcgarrybowen, Mullen and Saatchi & Saatchi, winning the hearts of global brands like Johnnie Walker, Budweiser, NFL, Marriott, Verizon, Captain Morgan, The Wall Street Journal and Reebok, to name a few.
Anomaly Founding Partner & Global Chief Creative Officer Mike Byrne says, “I’ve spent a good part of the last two years working with Martin and Lars. And I’ve found myself missing them when they are not around. They have this infectious creative energy that is quite addictive. On top of it they are wonderful human beings. They’re like the perfect sandwich. I can’t wait to see what happens in Amsterdam and beyond."
Lars says, “I could not imagine a better job in the world. With the recent Johnnie Walker win and Converse as long standing agency partner, we are truly excited about helping realize Anomaly’s far reaching creative vision.”
Martin added, “We are starting in the best possible way - in an office packed with creativity, with the backing of a strong, innovative global network and the opportunity to help shape icon brands. All that in one of the happiest cities on the planet - what's not to like?”
The new hires herald the start of an exciting period of growth for Anomaly Amsterdam, as the agency launches a global search to recruit exceptional talent, across all disciplines, to work on headline campaigns for clients such as Johnnie Walker and Converse. The Johnnie Walker account will involve all of the Anomaly offices with global leadership out of Amsterdam.
