Creative Circle Awards will open for entries on 1st January 2022 with new categories and the awards ceremony will close the UK Creative Festival at Dreamland on 8th September 2022

The Creative Circle releases a revised calendar and new categories for 2022 following its successful integration into the UK Creative Festival in September 2021.

The three-day event held at Dreamland, Margate brought together creative leaders, speakers and students from across the UK for a programme of talks, workshops, panels, wellness activities, and social events. The new calendar for 2022 includes revised dates for award entry submission, award entry eligibility, online judging, gold judging and the awards ceremony.

New dates:

  • Creative Circle Awards open for entries: 1st January 2022 - 31st March 2022
  • Online judging: April 2022 - May 2022
  • Live Gold judging: 1st June 2022 - mid 15th July 2022
  • UK Creative Festival: 6th - 8th September 2022
  • Creative Circle Awards Ceremony: 8th September 2022

As a result of the new entry window, award entry eligibility dates now run from January 2021 - April 2022. The UK Creative Festival will take place on the 6th, 7th and 8th of September 2022 and the Creative Circle awards ceremony will close the UK Creative Festival on Thursday 8th.

Evolving in tandem with the creative industries, the Creative Circle awards will include new categories for 2022 that embrace Experiential, Packaging, Use of Media, Animation and Gaming. Each of these developed category groups will have a specialist Gold jury for the first time populated by the leading creative companies in those fields.

Highlights from this year

The Creative Circle is the only award show which invites the entire UK Creative community to judge the submitted work. Registration is open to any creative currently working in the creative industries in the UK. Online judging for those registered will begin in April 2022 and run until the end of May 2022.

The Creative Circle will continue its pledge of 10% of all award entry fees and 100% of membership fees to support greater diversity in the creative departments of the future through the Creative Foundation.

Jeremy Green, founder of UKCF and managing director of the Creative Circle comments: “We are really excited about the energy that has been created by us delivering our awards ceremony when all the other award bodies failed to deliver. Our revised schedule will allow us to deliver an event with recognition of all the greatest work created in the UK over the past year and we look forward to welcoming the UK creative community back to Dreamland.”
