The awards, hosted at Dreamland, Margate, is increasing its scope across a host of new and expanded categories

The Creative Circle 2022 Awards opens for entries, with revised categories, to better celebrate the best of British creative work and talent.

Evolving in tandem with the creative industries, the 77th Creative Circle awards will include new categories for 2022 that embrace Animation, Writing, Packaging Design and Craft, Gaming, Experiential, and Media PR & Social. Each of these developed category groups will have a specialist Gold jury for the first time, populated by the leading creative companies in those fields. Pre-existing categories have also expanded, with Film Craft now including Best Costume & Wardrobe and Best Performance, Music Video now including Music Video Craft, and Radio expanding to become Audio, including Podcasts and Craft.

In addition, the Creative Circle is increasing its ongoing support for the future of talent, extending the New Talent categories to celebrate more up and coming young creatives across more disciplines, namely Most Promising Illustrator, Photographer, Designer, and Film Craft - and all remain free to enter this year.

Determined to deliver its awards ceremony even throughout the pandemic, Creative Circle was the first to deliver a virtual awards ceremony in 2020, and in 2021 held the first outdoor creative award ceremony at the UK Creative Festival in Dreamland, Margate.

The Creative Circle Awards ceremony will once again take place at this year’s UK Creative Festival at Dreamland, Margate, closing the event on the 8th September 2022.

Jeremy Green, founder of UKCF and managing director of the Creative Circle comments: “We’re continually looking for new ways to support young creative talent, and these additional free to enter categories will ensure we can really celebrate and give a platform to the future of the industry. Combined with an increased scope of recognition across various elements of creativity, this is the most comprehensive year to date. We can’t wait to see what’s in store.”

As ever, Creative Circle will continue to pledge 10% of all award entry fees and 100% of membership fees to supporting greater diversity in the creative departments of the future through the Creative Foundation. The fairest show in the UK, the Creative Circle is the only award show which invites the entire UK Creative community to judge the submitted work, with registration open to any creative currently working in the creative industries in the UK.
