The retailer Cotswold Co. is placed to do well during these uncertain times due to its dominant online presence and excellent delivery service. In the age of lockdown, this strength of offering makes it a formidable player in the world of furniture retail.
The creative is one of the first instalments of a modular sales TV campaign which can flex to accommodate different products throughout the year. Working for the second time with directors Zhang & Knight, each piece of furniture was shot in a warm yet elegant abstract environment. The camera moves between each set-up as if transitioning through multiple planes to reveal a new piece each time, inviting customers to ‘find your forever furniture’.
Stu Outhwaite-Noel, founder and chief creative officer at Creature said: “Lovely work for a lovely client, delivered in a lockdown world. Very proud of this one - if we're all stuck in at home, we should at least be doing it with nice furniture.” Angela Birtchnell, brand manager at Cotswold Co. added: “Creature have delivered a cracking campaign for us in difficult circumstances. Their work for us to date has been incredibly effective, so we’re excited to see where this one takes us.”
The campaign is supported by online videos which will run on social channels, and will run for the duration of the sale, from Easter weekend through until the end of April.
