Cossette Deepens CRM and Targeted Marketing Capabilities with New Senior-Level Hire

Bruce Haryott joins as vice president, technology and CRM
Cossette has announced the appointment of Bruce Haryott as the agency’s new vice president, technology and CRM, in Toronto. With over 20 years of IT leadership experience both client and agency side, Bruce will lend his extensive knowledge and expertise to lead the tech team on Cossette’s TD account, with a specific focus on boosting the team’s CRM and targeted marketing capabilities. 

Bruce was most recently vice president, technology at Klick Health, where he led the agency’s development teams in creating digital assets for large pharmaceutical companies. He also supported the Salesforce CRM center of excellence, providing a shared service across the entire client portfolio that focused on optimizing the customer journey. 

“Building and executing effective CRM and digital campaigns is a powerful tool for brands to get the information they need to make informed decisions, strengthen customer relationships, and drive revenue,” said Bruce. “What excites me the most about working with the integrated team at Cossette is the opportunity to partner with TD on their roadmap and optimize the end-to-end customer journey.”

For the past seven years, Cossette has been TD Canada Trust’s strategic partner, helping the financial institution grow its CRM program nationally.

“Data-driven communication has evolved at record speed, especially as consumer attention has shifted largely online over the past two years,” said Kathy McGuire, SVP, general manager at Cossette in Toronto. “Bruce’s deep knowledge in this space will enable us to expand our thought leadership and service offering at Cossette, and help us continue to elevate TD’s long-term innovation.” 

During his 20+ year career, Bruce has successfully built and led large global development and delivery teams, providing high-value assets and solutions to multiple clients. He started his career architecting and building a Salesforce center of excellence for American Express, and continued at IBM, leading Salesforce, Workday and SAP migrations for Fortune 100 companies. Additionally, he led the IBM custom solutions and innovation team, providing assets to the U.S. Department of Defense, and the healthcare, auto, consumer, finance and insurance industries, specializing in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and using IBM Watson and quantum computing. 

Bruce’s appointment is one of several recent promotions on the TD account at Cossette—Andrea O’Donnell was recently promoted to VP, business leadership, and Mario Cesareo and Sarah Rutherford were recently promoted to group creative directors.
