Cornett Promotes Creatives Kathy Martinolich and Jason Majewski
Creative marketing agency Cornett has promoted two executives within its creative department. Kathy Martinolich is now senior copywriter and Jason Majewski is creative director. They will report to ECDs Whit Hiler and Tim Jones.

Kathy is a prolific senior copywriter who loves to tell stories. In her two and a half years at the agency as copywriter, she’s worked for clients including Tempur + Sealy, the University of Kentucky, UK HealthCare, VisitLEX, Sazerac, Lane’s End Farm, and Keeneland. Her projects have won national awards, and she has been recognised in top industry publications. From helicopter pads to heart surgeries, her career has led her to places no one would ever expect a copywriter to go. Kathy has helped shape UK HealthCare’s reputation with the award-winning 'I Am/We Are Proof' campaign, an assignment she researched by observing open-heart surgery.

Jason is a newly minted creative director-wordsmith-strategist who has been at Cornett for nearly a decade. Formerly ACD, he has done noteworthy work for clients Tempur Sealy International, Procter & Gamble, Valvoline, A&W Restaurants, the University of Kentucky, UK Athletics, and UK HealthCare. Jason is on Cornett’s Vision team, which serves as the heart of the agency and ensures our purpose is known and everyone’s values are aligned. Other noteworthy accomplishments include branding Lexington’s signature Railbird Music Festival, creating an award-winning campaign for Kentucky’s #1 hospital, and helping break a Guinness World Record for 'The World’s Loudest Indoor Crowd Roar'. He also co-hosts Lexington’s chapter of CreativeMornings monthly.
