Creative marketing agency CORNETT has been chosen by Ad Age as a 2021 Small Agency of the Year. The Lexington, Kentucky-based indie shop won Gold in the Southeast category.
Known for combining strategic thinking and storytelling abilities with cutting-edge humour, CORNETT has created award-winning work for clients VisitLEX, UK Healthcare, Keeneland, A&W, Tempur + Healy, and Wheatley Vodka.
The indie shop also impressed judges with its ability to adapt and harness technology during 2020. As a result, CORNETT not only survived the challenging pandemic; it flourished as new president Christy Hiler took the reins.
Being recognised by Ad Age as a Small Agency of the Year is a remarkable honour, noted CORNETT’s Christy.
“As the saying goes, ‘Shoot for the moon—even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars,” she said. “Well, this year—despite all the challenges—we landed on the moon. We want to thank our community, our clients, and our team for proving that big ideas can come from not-so-big places.”
Small Agency of the Year is open to agencies of all marketing disciplines that are majority-independent owned, meaning, at least 51% privately held.
