comparethemarket.com Launches New TV Spot

ADD TO COLLECTION

‘Rock’ created by VCCP and shot by Darren Walsh and Dave Scanlon of Passion Pictures

comparethemarket.com Launches New TV Spot

comparethemarket.com launches a new 30” ad created by VCCP on Monday 22nd  April, which continues the campaign theme of the tension caused by the ongoing confusion between the two web sites comparethemarket.com and comparethemeerkat.com.

The brand new ad, called ‘Rock’, opens with Spencer from comparethemarket.com parachuting into the grounds of Aleksandr Orlov’s mansion. He throws a rock through the window, interrupting the meerkats as they enjoy an evening together in the mansion games room.

Sergei discovers a note tied to the rock. The note demands that Aleksandr closes down comparethemeerkat.com and stops giving away meerkat toys. Determined to not be ordered around by a rock, Aleksandr pledges to continue giving away meerkat toys to people who go to the right website for their car or home insurance.
