Colenso's latest work for Anchor has stood out
at the Radio Mercury Awards and is the only work from Australia and New
Zealand to reach the finalist stage of the International radio and audio
showcase.
The spots feature poems performed by World Champion
Slam Poet Harry Baker about the goodness that milk provides. The words
are supported by evocative and abstract sound design.

Says Dave Brady, CD, Colenso: "It's fantastic to see this work being
recognised. Collaborating with Harry on the whole Milk Slams campaign
was a real privilege. To be able to make this kind of work for milk is a
real testament to the progressive nature of our clients. Fingers
crossed for June 1st."
The other finalists in the International
category include work from Droga5 (New York), FCB South Africa, Newcap
Radio (Canada) and Ogilvy & Mather Group Hong Kong.
Colenso
last received a Mercury Award in 2015 for Pedigree's K9FM campaign,
where a radio station especially for dogs was created and broadcast
across and traditional FM frequency and bespoke iHeart Radio channel.
The
Radio Mercury Awards, the only competition exclusively devoted to
radio, was established in 1992 to encourage and reward the development
of effective and creative radio commercials. The annual Radio Mercury
Awards competition draws entries from advertising agencies, production
houses, radio stations, and educational institutions across the US and
beyond. Approximately 17,500 commercials have competed for over $3.1
million in prizes. The Radio Creative Fund (RCF), a non-profit
corporation funded by the radio industry, governs the Radio Mercury
Awards. The Radio Advertising Bureau produces the Radio Mercury Awards.
