Coffee & TV Boosts Senior Team Following Studio Expansion
Coffee & TV has welcomed executive producer Dionne Archibald (pictured) from The Moving Picture Company (MPC) to the team. Also joining are senior CG artist Richard Costin, and senior motion graphics artist, Jon Foskett. This bumper roster of new appointments follows Coffee & TV’s recent expansion of its Soho studio, which doubled the company’s capacity at the end of 2018.

Dionne Archibald will join Coffee & TV’s burgeoning production and new business team led by co-founder and executive producer, Chris Chard. Previously a senior producer at MPC for eight years, Dionne has worked on a string of high-profile commercials for the British Army,, AO, First Direct and Channel 4’s award-winning British Bake Off campaign. Before MPC, Dionne rose through the ranks in production with positions at Clear, Smoke & Mirrors and Prime Focus.

As a senior CG artist, Richard Costin will lead Houdini projects, bringing his 14 years of experience in 3D and animation to commercial and broadcast projects in the studio. He has worked with global brands such as Sony, Guinness, Netflix and Sky; and been part of CG teams for the movie, Exodus and BBC One’s Troy.

Coffee & TV also welcomes Jon Foskett, who has worked in the industry for nearly ten years. Jon previously worked at Smoke & Mirrors where he led projects for Louis Vuitton, Nike and ITV.

Coffee & TV’s new floor, which opened for business in December, added two new Flame suites, two extra VFX suites, another eight seats of CGI and motion graphics and a new grading suite. Mason Stewart has also been appointed as the studio’s new head of MCR.

Derek Moore, CEO & co-founder of Coffee & TV said: “Now we have twice as much space, we needed to bolster our senior team. We have always been about recruiting the best people, so I am delighted that exceptional talents like Dionne, Jon, Rich and Mason were excited to join us to strengthen our existing community and offering. They are not just incredible professionals, they are wonderful people too, which is just as important if we want to continue to have the best culture in town”.

Dionne Archibald, executive producer said: “I have worked with many of the Coffee & TV team before they set up the studio, and have been a fan of their work and achievements over the years. It feels right to be joining the company at the start of a new chapter as the studio expands. I’m really looking forward to working within such a close-knit community with such talented artists”.

Richard Costin, senior CG artist said: “I am really excited to join such a strong team of talented artists. I’m eager to get stuck in and help create the amazing work associated with Coffee & TV.”

Jon Foskett, senior motion graphics designer said: “I’ve been a big fan of Coffee & TV since the studio started so I’m really excited to join the team. I know they also throw a good party.”
