Toronto-based agency Zulu Alpha Kilo have created a series of quirky coffee mugs to launch their new internal Zucafé for employees.  The mugs illustrate a day in the life of each discipline within the agency. From creative and planning to production and IT, every mug plays with a daily insight from the advertising industry and Zulu’s own agency culture. 

Designed like a measuring cup, each mug tells the drinker what to do throughout the day based on their respective discipline. A cup in the life of HR, for instance, starts with finding a bong in the dishwasher, and then progresses to hearing moans from the washroom, until finally being told to refill with whisky. 

A cup in the life of a creative starts with brainstorming with a partner, followed by a series of “ummms,” “errs,” and “hmms” exchanges, and ends with making a new pot of coffee for the long night ahead.
