Digital-first creative agency Code and Theory announced the appointment of Anne Sachs, former chief content officer at Thrive Global, as the senior director of editorial strategy, effective immediately, who will be responsible for growing and evolving the agency’s Editorial Strategy practice.
Anne will work closely with clients and team leads to deliver original editorial concepts driven by a combination of client needs, audience consumption and performance data, and will develop a wider range of offerings based on the latest content trends.
She is tasked with leading high-quality strategic content development across projects and departments, developing a vision and structure for the agency’s editorial team, partnering with the agency’s DART team to develop and execute content plans.
To support with Code and Theory’s business development efforts, Anne will also push for new workstreams and company offerings rooted in editorial excellence.
Prior to joining Thrive, she held leadership roles at Conde Nast, where she served as the founder of Conde’s centralised newsroom, and held titles as Executive Digital Director at Glamour and W Magazine, Interim Digital Director at Vogue, and Editorial Director of Product Partnerships, working across product and content strategy.
Anne’s extensive experience in content development and storytelling spans across multiple industries, including health and wellness, fashion, beauty, personal finance, and workplace leadership.
Additionally, Anne held roles at ELLEgirl, MTV Networks, and The Gallup Poll.
