Agency challenges the industry to think beyond the low hanging fruit

WorkInProgress, an award winning independent creative advertising agency, announced today the launch of its newest product: the Low Hanging Fruit candle. A novelty-scented candle aimed at (hopefully) putting an end to novelty-scented candles for brands. With a scent comprised of currant and black fig made to remind brand and agency teams that, 'it’s been done'.   

“After seeing the 30th novelty-scented candle for a brand, we were inspired to find a tasteful way to push the industry to do better,” said WorkInProgress partner and chief creative officer, Matt Talbot. “We thought a novelty-scented candle was perfect.”

WorkInProgress was founded on the belief that it takes bold action, not just a clever ad campaign, to win in today’s landscape. With the launch of the agency’s Low Hanging Fruit candle, it’s taking its action-based philosophy that is typically applied to the world’s most recognisable brands and using it to encourage the industry to join them in their commitment to say no to low hanging fruit. Both literally and figuratively.
