Circle Canada Announces Executive Producer Changes

After thirty-five years with Circle Productions’ Vancouver office, executive producer Tom Murray is retiring. Over the years, Tom has developed a stellar and well earned international reputation for providing A-level foreign production companies, Canadian Ad agencies and top tier Directors his considerable experience and savvy project planning, bidding, and management services on a wide range of commercial productions. Tom will be missed by all of us at Circle, our valued freelance film community, and by many of Circle’s key clients. It’s been a great ride, and we wish Tom all the best in the future. 

Circle is pleased and excited to announce the addition of executive producer Mike Gill. Over the past twenty years Mike has been a mainstay Producer and Production Manager on a vast range of Circle’s commercial projects, working with many of our industry’s top Canadian Agencies, as well as managing Service work for established US, British, and European Production Companies, their Directors and Producers. As of April 3rd, 2023, Mike will join the Circle family as staff EP, joining Toronto office EP’s, Karen Tameanko and Laurence Payne, and Vancouver office MP Chris Bowell, EP Blake Bowell, Talent Exec Tania James, and Circle’s valued staff in both offices, in maintaining and growing Circle’s ongoing international reputation for top level commercial production.
