CICLOPE Festival 2022 Extends Awards Entry Deadline

CICLOPE Festival, the international festival entirely dedicated to craft skills in advertising, has extended its awards entry deadline by a week - from September 9th to September 16th.

The festival in Berlin is the flagship event for the world’s top directors, creatives, producers, editors, and composers. Held annually since 2010, CICLOPE is a community of professionals with a passion for craft and gathers the very best of the global creative industry. 

The event offers inspiring talks and sessions with some of the world’s most renowned creatives with the awards show an outstanding showcase and celebration of the best of the year in commercials, music videos and short films.

The Shortlist for the 13th annual CICLOPE Festival will be announced on October 12th with the CICLOPE Festival awards ceremony taking place in Berlin on November 10th.

This year’s executive jury includes David Lee, chief creative officer at Squarespace; Julia Neumann, chief creative officer at Johannes Leonardo; Revolver co-owner and MD Michael Ritchie, MD and executive producer Charlotte Marmion from Iconoclast; Melissa Culligan, partner and managing executive producer at Epoch Films; and Lynsey Atkin, 4Creative’s executive creative director.

The Grand Jury includes Rhea Scott, president and founder of Little Minx, Anna Hashmi, co-founder & EP The Corner Shop, Dustin Callif from Tool of NA, Elena Argiros at Academy and Grant Sithole, CCO at Publicis Groupe South Africa.

CICLOPE’s judging process consists of three rounds; the first is undertaken by the Grand Jury, who rank the entries on CICLOPE’s online platform. The 10 highest-ranking entries in each category are considered finalists. 

In the second round, the executive jury discuss the finalists via video conferencing and award Gold, Silver, and Bronze in each category. The third round takes place in Berlin, where the executive jury convene in person to choose the Grand Prix awards.

Tickets for the Award Ceremony are only open to those attending the full three-day conference. The Early Bird fee is available until September 9th.
