Ciclope Awards 2020 to Announce Online Edition Winners 

On Thursday 3rd December, 7pm Berlin time, the winners of CICLOPE Awards 2020 will be announced on an online special that will be streamed on the festival’s website. Due to the Covid outbreak, CICLOPE will not be able to hold its usual event in Berlin this year, but the organisation decided to recognise and celebrate the work made by the community in the last 12 months in an online version of the award show.

Winners were chosen from the shortlist by above 50 top professionals from all over the world, in different online sessions. The jury panel was chaired by Medb Riordan (Academy Films), Sue Yeon Ahn (Smuggler), Anthony Falco (adam&eveDDB), Juliette Larthe (Prettybird), Vicky Ferraro (Wave Studios) and Jonathan Davies (MPC). As a result, almost 50 commercials, music videos and short films were awarded in categories such as Direction, Cinematography, Editing, VFX, Sound Design, Original Music, New Talent and –this year’s special– Remote Production. The jury delivered one Bronze, one Silver and one Gold trophy in each category, as well as five Grand Prix.
