A funny new campaign for ESPN Radio by agency 77 Ventures makes it clear that speaking the plain truth goes over better on the air. Directed by Chris Hooper and produced by Über Content, the three spots, "Date," "Dog," and "Potatoes," feature ESPN Radio's top sports talk show hosts dishing out a taste of brutal honesty to some innocent bystanders.
Date:
Dog:
Potatoes:
When Scott Van Pelt and Ryen Russillo let poor Carl know that the girl he wants to date is way out of his league; when Mike Greenberg insults Mike Golic's mothers' mashed potatoes by calling them "second string"; and when Colin Cowherd tells his neighbor that his dog just isn't that special in "Dog," we find out that when these straight-talking guys tell it like it is - it works better On The Air.
