Marketing agency St. John has hired Chris Heydt as account supervisor, president and COO Jeff McCurry announced today. He began Thursday, March 11, and will work with clients in the retail and utility categories.
Heydt is an accomplished senior marketing strategist and manager who brings a diverse set of skills and experience to St. John. These include omni-channel advertising, digital media and communications, brand management, influencer engagement, content development, and strategic planning. He also has comprehensive experience in project management, complete digital planning, creative development, team leadership and social media operations. His proven aptitude for paid-media integration, budget management, consulting, insight development and solutions-based strategy also make him a terrific addition to the agency.
“Chris’ background in creative strategy, digital and social content is such a strong foundation for client leadership today,” McCurry said. “Communications must address so many different objectives, channels and forms.”
Heydt was most recently senior communications manager at Revlon Professional, but he also handled advertising for American Crew, CND, and Revlon Professional in the U.S. and Canada.
He began his career at Ogilvy in Washington, D.C., and then transferred to New York, where he handled account management, strategic planning and social media. While there, he worked on brands as diverse as BP America, British Airways, Dupont, IBM, Jägermeister, NASCAR, Nestlé Waters North America, Time Warner Cable and The United Nations.
Heydt is also an exceptional and talented producer who uses highly developed creative and interpersonal skills to design industry-leading campaign content.
