Chevy Sonic & Goodby, Silverstein & Parners Host Exhibit at Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity
Interactive Exhibit Builds on Chevy Sonic’s “Let’s Do This” campaign
WHAT: Launching today, Chevy and GSP will host an exhibit during the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity that builds on the highly successful “Let’s Do This” campaign in which the Chevy Sonic was the first car to accomplish several high-adrenaline stunts, including bungee jumping, skydiving, and participating in a music video.
All Cannes Lions attendees are welcome to visit
WHEN: Monday, June 18 – Friday, June 22, 2012. The exhibit opens at 10:00 and closes at 17:00 each day
WHERE: On the lawn of the Grand Hotel, 45 Boulevard de la Croisette, just minutes away from the Palais des Fesitvals, where the Cannes Lions Festival takes place
WHY: Chevy’s Sonic accomplished stunts that no other car has. The exhibit will allow visitors to enter the skydiving Sonic and the Sonic featured during the OK Go for their music video “Needing/Getting.” Interactive iPads will share content on additional stunts from the “Let’s Do This” initiative. What’s more, the exhibit space will offer free wi-fi and a place to sit, relax or get work done.
On Wenesday at the Sonic site, visitors will be able to stop by at 5:30 p.m. for a behind-the-scenes panels with the creatives who worked on the Sonic campaign, moderated by Arwa Mahdawi, Editor, Contagious Magazine.
