Promotion comes at a time of strong growth for the agency, with media billings increasing 5X in the past four years

Independent full-service advertising agency, Chemistry announced the promotion of Jason Dille to chief media officer. Jason most recently held the title of executive vice president and, in recent years, has spearheaded the growth of the agency’s media billings from $20MM to over $100MM.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jason for a decade and have witnessed his remarkable growth as a leader and dedication to delivering results for our agency and our incredible clients,” said Ned Show, CEO of Chemistry. “This promotion is well-deserved, and I can’t wait to see what Jason and his team accomplish next.”

Jason’s 20 years of expertise include strategic planning, buying, implementation, and analytics in digital and traditional media. He has led his team at Chemistry in developing media plans and strategies that deliver key business goals such as brand awareness, email acquisition, e-commerce revenue, offline/in-store revenue, and lead generation for a variety of clients, including Five Guys, Rite Aid, PetSafe, Payless ShoeSource, Pennsylvania Lottery, UPMC Health Plan, Frontdoor, Krystal, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and the AMB Family of businesses (Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United).

Chemistry’s Media Team has been named finalists for various media planning and buying awards from multiple publications, including Digiday, Campaign US, and Adweek. Jason has also received The Art Stein Memorial Award and The Outstanding Achievement in Media Award from the Media Association of Pittsburgh. He has also led agency culture events to help raise money for local charities and established the first advertising industry scholarship in Pittsburgh to support diverse young talent beginning their careers in advertising.

“I’m so proud of all that we have achieved as a team and an agency, and I’m grateful to now step into the role of chief media officer,” said Jason. “It’s an amazing time at Chemistry and in the industry, and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with our diverse clients to push the boundaries of what is possible in the media field and brand development overall.”

This promotion comes on the heels of Chemistry being recognized on Ad Age’s 2023 A-List (ranked 6th in the country), receiving a silver (honourable mention) for the Independent Agency of the Year award by Campaign US, and being shortlisted for Adweek’s Midsize Agency of the Year.
