From treat testing grandmas to IKEA conspiracies, here are three award-winning campaigns from the fine folk at DDB Italy that you definitely shouldn't miss.
Kinder - Tested by Grandmas
This fun campaign managed to pick up a Bronze Lion at Cannes this year. Through the experience and opinions of a group of grandmas, the top authorities on the subject of sweet snacks and genuineness, DDB Italy managed to reach and reassure a much broader target: all Italian families that already use the product and, most importantly, the sceptical ones too.
The grandmas were better loved and more popular than any celebrity or testimonial Kinder has ever hired on and offline. Their experience gained the attention not only of the public, but also of food websites and blogs and even of news outlets.
Audi - The Trust Race
To become part of our everyday lives, Audi’s most advanced driver-assistance systems still have to overcome the most important test: trust. That’s why DDB and Audi Italy organised a race between two drivers on a track covered by fog. The winner was the one who relied completely on the car’s technologies: Mike Newman, blind driver and eight Guinness World Record holder.
IKEA
The IKEA catalogue has been anticipating people's needs and predicting how life at home changes for over 60 years. To launch the 2018 catalogue, DDB and IKEA Italy created a campaign that unveils to the world how it predicted much more than just styles and trends. So much more.
