Check Out Henry Scholfield's Retro One-take Wonder for Stromae

Caviar Brussels, Henry Scholfield and Stromae have teamed up yet again for another exceptionally executed music video for the French speaking artists new single ‘Ave Cesaria’. Filmed in one afternoon on VHS, the piece is an engaging one take wonder full of atmosphere & charm, the perfect accompaniment to Stromae’s gorgeous new track.

Scholfield has directed promos for the likes of Ella Eyre, Will Young, Dizee Rascal as well as Stromae’s last video with Caviar ‘Tous Les Memes’ which has been shortlisted at this years UK MVA’s. In Ave Cesaria, the young director has chosen to portray the warm sensibility of a family celebration, using a home-video style camera that never stops moving around to discover new delights.

Stromae is the award-winning Francophone singer / song-writer who’s music is rooted in hip hop and electronic music.‘Ave Cesaria’ is the fourth single from the album success Racine Carrée. It is an ode to the Cape Verdean singer Cesaria Evora.
