Cheat Launches Instagram Live Series Alongside Camerimage Cinematography Festival

As there is no in-person Camerimage festival in Poland this year, post production studio, Cheat, wants to help keep the festive spirit going by hosting some live interviews with the DOP nominees alongside the festival screenings and events.

Toby Tomkins, Cheat’s founder and senior colourist, who has attended the cinematography festival for 12 years, commented: “It’s such a shame there’s no opportunity to meet at Camerimage this year. It always fosters such inspiration and connection - I’m determined to keep the essence of the festival alive despite the pandemic! Hopefully this live series will bring a bit of that spirit to our community.”

Nominees across ‘Best Feature Directorial Debut’, ‘Best TV Pilot’ and ‘Best Music Video’ will be featured daily until 21st November and it all kicks off today at 7:30pm GMT, with director of photography on the sensational BBC series 'Normal People', Suzie Lavelle.
