Channel 4’s award winning in-house team 4Creative launches its latest campaign to run throughout lockdown.

‘Bubble Up With Channel 4’ is encouraging people to bring Channel 4, along with its other platforms, into their Covid ‘bubble’ during lockdown.

The idea behind the campaign is to share a warmer message and remind people they can rely on Channel 4 to offer up some much needed light relief during this lockdown with our brilliant content - new releases like The Great Pottery Throwdown, First Dates, and Junior Bake Off and nostalgic favourites like Desmond’s and The Inbetweeners.

4Creative have designed a very cheery candy pink bubble logo encouraging everyone to ‘Bubble Up with Channel 4’ (and All4, E4, Film4, 4Music, and 4Seven) and this message will appear over the next six weeks right across the Channel 4 network, on All4, and our social channels, as well as on a variety of marketing and presentation assets until the end of lockdown.

Zaid Al-Qassab, Channel 4’s chief marketing officer, said: “Lockdowns are really challenging at the best of times but this one, coming in January with the post-Christmas blues, is going to be a very tough time  for everyone so we wanted to create a warmer, cosier message which invites people to bubble up with Channel 4 and enjoy some much needed escapism.”

During the first lockdown Channel 4 used its platform to remind people of the important #StayAtHome guidance, and it irreverently encouraged young men in particular to stay at home with the ‘We Need Your Butt’ campaign, as well as its short films featuring Channel 4 talent filling their time at home doing humorously mundane things.
