Agency makes senior creative team appointment and raft of promotions

Initials Marketing has bolstered its team with a new senior creative team and a raft of promotions.
 

Ethan Kennedy joins as senior art director and Iain Whiteley as copywriter; both will report into Nick Presley, executive creative director at Initials.

 
The duo will work across a number of the agency’s key accounts including UKTV, Quaker, Doritos, Sainsbury’s and Walkers, devising and leading creative social and digital campaigns.

 
Kennedy joins from Mars London, where he held the same role with an additional remit as brand guardian for its Bacardi Global Brands account, leading all BTL for Bacardi UK. Prior to this he was designer at Saatchi & Saatchi X.

 
Whiteley joins from RAPP where he was copywriter. Previously he held roles at WARL Group delivering copy and creative services for Clipper Teas, Proctor & Gamble and McArthurGlen Designer Outlets. His CV also includes a four-year stint at Guardian News and Media delivering above-the-line and below-the-line campaigns for all Guardian and Observer brands.

 
The agency has also promoted three of its team.

 
Tamsin Kon, previously senior communications manager is now communications director. The move sees hear leading projects as part of an integrated team, working on the Pepsico account which includes the Naked, Walkers and Sunbites brands. She also takes on the role of agency lead on all UKTV projects coming through the agency.

 
Jenita Ferreira takes on the position of senior social media manager, advising on social media strategies for all clients. Her remit also includes responsibility for all social output across a number of client accounts including UKTV Gold and Miller Genuine Draft UK. Ferreira’s focus will be on managing ROI on the brands’ social networks and delivering and activating website and social campaigns.

 
Chris Perowne has been promoted to the role of senior designer working across the agency’s client portfolio with specific focus on the Sainsbury’s and Club Wembley accounts, leading campaign design and creative delivery.
