Cesar, the UK’s leading dog single serve food brand, has launched its latest ad “Nightshift”, which brings to life the true value of friendship, by highlighting the role that a faithful companion can play in brightening up a person’s day. The 30-second ad is a follow-up to the award-winning “Journey” ad, which was voted the most emotional advert ever in 2014 by Campaign Magazine.
The ad demonstrates how a special companion by your side can make even the most mundane of tasks seem exciting, as long as you can share and experience these moments together. The ad follows a guard on night duty as he patrols the office block in which he works. Far from feeling lonely in an empty building, he goes on a playful adventure around the office with his faithful Westie.
A shared meal seals their friendship, as the ad shows the guard tucking into a delicious breakfast and his four-legged friend a tasty Cesar meal. They watch the sun rise again, and their night shift come to a close.
