After several weeks in an intense pitch process, MullenLowe Delta kicks off 2018 by adding Pilsener and Pilsener Light, the iconic beer brands of Cervecería Nacional, part of AB InBev, to its client roster. The agency, who already handles the advertising communications for Budweiser, Stella Artois and Corona, and soft drink Pony Malta since 2017, now ads the beer of Ecuadorians to its portfolio.
It’s the first big win for the team lead by Juan Carlos Zorro, who joined MullenLowe Delta in September 2017 and Carlos Oviedo, ECD since 2015. “We are so happy to have Cercecería Nacional as our client. To be able to have one of the iconic brands of Ecuador fills us with pride and satisfaction; and at the same time is a huge challenge which we are prepared to face with fresh ideas, focusing on real and measurable results for the brands. This new win adds to the solid and important relationship that MullenLowe Group Latin America has with AB InBev in the region. MullenLowe SSP3 has been one of its pillar agencies in Colombia for 19 years. It currently handles the advertising communications for the iconic Aguila beer brands and for Pony Malta in that market while Publicidad Comercial MullenLowe has been responsible for Suprema beer for several years and since 2017. MullenLowe 511 Peru joined the agency roster when it was chosen to handle the Guaraná and Maltín Power soft drink brands, and recently also for the global brands, as was MullenLowe Delta Ecuador.
