Caviar's Hit Belgian TV Show 'The Out-Laws' Heads to UK
The successful Flemish TV series Clan hits the UK tonight and airs as ‘The Out-Laws’. The renowned series from Belgian production house Caviar will be available as of July 15th on More4, Channel 4’s sister channel in the UK. First episode airs at 9pm.
Created by Malin-Sarah Gozin and directed by Kaat Beels and Nathalie Basteyns, Clan first aired on the Flemish tv channel VTM in 2012 and immediately got the entire Flemish region gripped. This was the fiction series you just had to see!
This came as no surprise as the series boasted an all-star cast including Barbara Sarafian, Geert Van Rampelberg, Maaike Neuville, Kristine Van Pellicom, Ruth Becquart en Dirk Roofthooft.
Everybody was captivated by this intense but at the same time funny series about five sisters that try to murder their obnoxious brother in law Jean-Claude. The success quickly spread to The Netherlands and Germany and Caviar Los Angeles produced a remake in the US. As of tonight, Friday July 15th, this remake that has been aptly named ‘The Out-Laws’ will kick off on More4, Channel 4’s sister channel at 9pm. The More4 audience encompasses sophisticated and thrilling foreign drama. A promise The Out-Laws will undoubtedly fulfill. The first two episodes will be shown back to back to completely submerge the viewer into this gripping storyline. As Walter Presents describes it as “Desperate Housewives on acid”.
