Caviar London Sign Emile Rafael

Emile Rafael discovered his love for film making at 15. He studied Economics and Media at the University of New York in Prague before moving to the UK to attend the London Film School for his MA. He started full time directing last year after being commissioned to direct Headshake by Saturday, Monday, quickly followed by Get Paid for Katy B featuring Wiley.

Anna Smith EP at Caviar London had this to say about the young film maker- 'Whilst on the hunt for an up and coming director, we came across Emile's body of work and were struck by the raw talent and emotional sensibility crafted by a someone so early on in their career. His work to date is a sure sign of his future potential with the right guidance and support. We have high hopes for him in both music videos and eventually onto commercials.'

The signing coincides with the first collaboration between Rafael & Caviar, an eerily atmospheric music video for One Little Indian signing Stubborn Heart's new single 'Penetrate'.

Shot over two days with a budget of 2K, we follow a surreal journey of haunted looking women in dilapidated interiors, intercut with random objects of old phones, bare mattresses, a TV glowing on the floor, abstract liquid imagery based on the band's album cover and a man with an unhealthy interest in moths.
