CASEY Signs Renowned Creative Studio Cokau Lab

New York production company CASEY is excited to sign Cokau Lab, the award-winning creative studio of directors Achille Coquerel and Thomas Kauffmann. The duo is behind highly innovative video content for luxury, beauty, automotive, food, art and culture and like to explore their artistic limits with experimental films. Their work spans everything from broadcast spots and digital content through ground breaking immersive environments and emerging technologies.

joins CASEY’s renowned roster that includes VFX innovator Carlo Van de Roer/Satellite Lab, whose patented systems were recently lauded by Disney as “brand-new filmmaking technology destined to impact the medium for years to come.” Other artists include director Favourite Colour: Black and director/photographers Andree Ljutica, Nick & Chloe, Mads Perch, and Claire Benoist.

Cokau’s remarkable versatility is reflected in clients as diverse as Land Rover, Lancôme, TAG Heuer, McDonald’s, Pernod Ricard, Shu Uemura, Bentley, Guerlain, Audemars Piguet, and Yves Saint Laurent - to name a few. The campaigns are united by a forward-thinking, transdisciplinary creative approach rooted in the directors’ complementary expertise - Coquerel comes from a background in editing, while Kauffmann was a motion designer before the two teamed up as directors over a decade ago.
