Although the Danes are out of the World Cup, they still make probably the best beer in the world, and now - probably the most moving Cypriot commercial. Fifty years after they choseCyprus to be the first country in the world outside Denmark to brew Carlsberg - the first ever Cypriot Carlsberg commercial follows.

Directed by El Colony's Vardis Marinakis, the "The Story of Our Story" is narrated by fantastic Cypriot lead actor Athos Antoniou. A rare occasion when the client decided to air 1 min 48 seconds Director's Cut.

The brief was clear: the hero needs to be Cypriot and the team needs to create something that will make Cypriots proud and emotional. The shoot included special product shots that were made possible with the help of Beer specialist Tony Fiory.

Director Vardis Marinakis is represented by El Colony outside Greece.
