Colombia’s December holidays are known for celebratory fireworks throughout the month. While fireworks may ring in the festivities, it is also the time of year when more pets are lost – with thousands running away from home, dazed and frightened by those same fireworks, and with others suffering illness and death as a result.
Cardiovascular hospital Fundación Cardio Infantil has joined together with Geometry Colombia (a VMLY&R COMMERCE company) to help prevent a child’s heartbreak from the unnecessary loss of a pet.
Working together, they have unveiled Unbreakable Hearts – pet hearing protectors to alleviate undo pet stress associated with seasonal fireworks. Made of industrial quality rubber, these pet hearing protectors reduce excessive noise levels by up to 70%, being one of the cheapest preventative treatments in the loss and death of pets. At the same time, 100% of proceeds from the sales will go to the Fundación Cardio Infantil to provide life-saving treatment for low-income children with congenital heart disease.

The campaign runs December 7th, 2021 through January 1st, 2022.
