Sendle, Australia's first 100% carbon neutral shipping service, and 72andSunny have created a new and unique social design system to fuel all the brand’s social media activity.
The social design system includes a new, dynamic brand identity, whilst systemising how the brand can convey key messaging and hero customer testimonials on social platforms.
72andSunny created an asset bank of over 80 pieces of content, using motion graphics and testimonial films from Sendle small business customers. These assets can then be adapted by the in-house Sendle team, as they test and learn what works.
The system will drive all of Sendle’s social media in Australia and North America, to acquire new customers and establish Sendle as the delivery partner of choice for small and medium sized businesses.
Says Eva Ross, Sendle, chief marketing and customer officer: “We worked with 72andSunny on a way to tell our story in an ever changing landscape. We needed something that could easily scale, that brought with it longevity, and the control to target, tweak, and optimise. The result is a creative and flexible design system that captures both the craft of small business, and the symbolism of modern delivery. We’ve created a hard working tool kit that’s adaptable, scalable and impactful.”
Says Luke Martin, ECD, 72andSunny Sydney: “It was really fun working with the Sendle crew on this. We think that modern brands need to think more systematically about social media. What’s the commercial opportunity that social provides? What kind of assets do we need to seize this opportunity? How do we design a system for these assets that stands out in the feed and is flexible and useful? How do we set up brands to then manage and deploy these assets themselves, testing and optimising in real time.”
