Capital Breakfast Surprises Jordan North with Massive Mural in Burnley

To celebrate Jordan North’s first day as the host of the All New Capital Breakfast show, co-hosts Chris Stark and Sian Welby surprised Jordan on-air by unveiling a huge mural of him in his home town of Burnley.  

The 20-foot-tall mural installed off the Manchester Road in Burnley took three artists 70 hours to create using a combination of emulsion and cans of spray-paint.

The diehard Burnley FC fan is one of the fastest rising stars in broadcasting and was recently announced as the newest signing to Capital which has a huge 7.9 million listeners tuning in every week. His new show - Capital Breakfast with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby - will see the biggest artists and the most famous celebrities join them on the UK’s No 1 Hit Music Station.  

On seeing the mural for the first time on-air, Jordan North said: “I can’t believe this, it means the world to the little 10 year-old boy who used to go and watch Burnley play all the time, so to see that round the corner from Turf Moor is honestly amazing - thank you!”

The All New Capital Breakfast Show with Jordan North, Chris Stark and Sian Welby launched on Monday 8th of April at 6am.
