Cannes Lions Adds Saatchi's Tom Eslinger to Creative Data Jury

As preparations continue for the launch of Lions Innovation (the new festival exploring data and technology as catalysts for creativity during Cannes Lions), juries for the two categories to form its associated awards have been announced. The distinguished panels assembled for the inaugural Creative Data Lions and newly expanded Innovation Lions are reflective of industry shifts and provide a strong indication of what to expect from judging.

Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide Creative Digital Director Tom Eslinger has been selected for the  Jury of the new Creative Data Lions. The composition of the founding jury, which unites the industry’s most senior data, strategy and analytics specialists and its most awarded creatives, is a barometer for entries. 

Tom Eslinger sits on the Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide Creative Board, and works across Saatchi & Saatchi’s worldwide digital capability.  Based in NYC, Eslinger has a worldwide focus across network clients for integrated creative, strategy and operations and specifically on NYC-based clients.  Eslinger is a multiple Cannes Lion winner across outdoor, cyber, media, direct and promo for web and mobile work. In 2012, Tom was the first President of the newly minted Mobile Lions, following his 2007 Presidency of the Cyber Lions. It was Tom’s fourth Cannes jury appearance, also serving on the 2002 Cyber and 2006 Titanium juries.

Eslinger is the author of ‘Mobile Magic: The Saatchi & Saatchi Guide to Mobile Marketing’, which offers a roadmap for creating effective mobile marketing campaigns.
