Cannes may be getting bigger and starrier every year, but for AKQA's CTO Ben Jones, it's the intimate events and personal connections that make it the highlight of the advertising calendar. LBB's Laura Swinton caught up with Ben on the jetty at the LBB & Friends Beach to talk about some of the fantastic projects the Future Lions (every year AKQA brings a litter of students to Cannes to develop ideas and get a foothold in the industry), have devised. He also reveals that, despite the growing presence of tech, celebs and data in Cannes, the secret ingredient is people.
