CANADA Director Gerson Aguerri’s Campaign for Travel Oregon Wins Big
The first win for a commercial for Barcelona based director Gerson Aguerri with Travel Oregon - Extraordinary is Ordinary.
He won a Silver Kinsale Shark Award for Best International Campaign and has just been shortlisted at Ciclope for Best Campaign as well.
On the film, Gerson comments that “The challenge was to translate Oregon’s exuberance into film. Well… there is no way to do such a thing. And that’s the whole point of the campaign”.
“It was great opportunity for me to get deep into techniques that I have only tiptoed in before. The learning curve was huge and I’m looking forward to using the tricks that I have learned here in my next projects, and taking them even further.”
